Kairis Chiaji

Kairis Joy Chiaji is a veteran community doula, entrepreneur, and advocate with over 25 years of experience lowering maternal and infant mortality rates in Northern California. The founder of Baby Got Back Up Birth Support Services and the non-profit Children of the Sun Doula Project, INC., Kairis specializes in training culturally competent birth workers and building supportive networks for maternal health providers. She also brings leadership to her community as a Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce Board Member, an ordained pastor, and a competitive equestrian.
